The SMSU STAT group is a group of outstanding
student leaders who serve the University community, students,
and alumni. Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow students benefit from their leadership opportunities and the chance to make a difference at SMSU.
What is S.T.A.T.?
Students Today,
Alumni Tomorrow (S.T.A.T.) provides students with a way to get
involved on the campus of SMSU. Through Homecoming, Mustang Traditions, the Nearly Naked Mile and career programming,
S.T.A.T. members are introduced to a wide variety of ways to meet new
people and make the most of their campus experience. Our vision is to
involve all alumni and students in the life of SMSU.
Who are members of STAT?
STAT members serve as student representatives for SMSU and alumni association through:
- Leadership among their fellow students and members of Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow
- Encouragement of a strong, lifetime relationship with the University of Iowa
- Service as a link between Mustang past, present, and future
- Aid, assist, and promote the SMSU Alumni Association with their peers, families, and alumni
